Grandma Owns the Kitchen Pickleball Mug, 11 oz, Gift for Grandma

The Grandma Owns the Kitchen pickleball mug is a gift for grandma that she can use in both of her kitchens. She sips her coffee in the one at home and talks about the one on the court: the seven foot zone by the net where she wins her points.

What the design means

Pickleball players call the non-volley zone the kitchen. The player who controls it with soft, patient shots usually controls the game, and plenty of grandmas are very good at exactly that. So the line is a double joke. She runs the house, and she runs the net. Anyone who has been out-dinked by a grandma at open play will agree.

Who it's for

It is a sweet Mother's Day, birthday or Christmas gift from the grandkids, or a small surprise for a grandma who just joined a league. Fill it with tea bags or chocolates before you wrap it. Pair it with the matching shirt, sweatshirt or tote for a bigger gift. Find more in pickleball gifts for grandparents.

A mug is one of the easiest pickleball gifts to give. There is no size to guess, it gets used every morning, and it works for a player at any level. Fill it with coffee beans, tea, cocoa packets or a sleeve of pickleballs and it is ready to wrap. It also makes a good thank you for a coach, a league organizer or the friend who always brings the extra paddle.

Size and material

This is an 11 oz white glossy ceramic mug, 3.8 in tall and 3.2 in across: the classic coffee mug size that holds a full cup of coffee or tea. The glossy white finish makes the design stand out on a kitchen counter or an office desk. The mug is $19.

Care

The mug is dishwasher and microwave safe. Hand washing with a soft sponge is the gentlest choice if you want the print to look new for as long as possible, but day to day use in the dishwasher is fine.

Shipping

Each one is printed to order in the US. Production takes 2 to 5 business days, then US shipping takes 3 to 4 business days, and shipping within the US is free. If you are buying a gift for a set date, plan on about 5 to 9 business days from the day you order to the day it arrives, and add a few extra days in December.
