Pickleball Gifts for Mom (2026): 25 Mother's Day and Birthday Ideas With Prices

Mom Needs Court Time Pickleball T-Shirt, Gift for Mom

The best pickleball gift for a mom who plays is more time on the court: watch the kids, book her a court, or sign the two of you up for a lesson. After that, give her something she uses every time she plays (a tote, a towel, grips, a visor) and one thing that shows you know how much she loves the game, like a "Mom Needs Court Time" mug or hat. Below are 25 pickleball gifts for mom, from free to $579, sorted by price, with dates for ordering in time for Mother's Day and a list of what to skip.

How we picked

We are a small US shop that prints pickleball shirts, hats, mugs, tote bags and towels, so some gifts here are ours, marked with our prices and links. Most are from other brands. We did not test the gear; we chose things moms who play every week use or ask for, with prices we saw on retailer pages (mostly PickleballCentral) in October 2026. Prices change, so check before you buy. Sources are at the end.

The Mom Needs Court Time gifts

"Mom needs court time" is four words every mom who plays has said, or at least thought. We put the line on four things, so you can pick by budget or put two together:

The mug and a booked court make a nice pair: the mug says it, the booking does it.

Free and under $25

1. A morning off to play (free)

For a mom with young kids, the gift she wants most may be two hours of open play without checking her phone. Write it on a card with a real date and time, and then keep the promise.

2. A booked court (about $16 an hour)

Courts fill up fast in many towns. Book one for her and her usual group. Public indoor courts are often cheap; the Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District in Oregon, for example, charged $16 an hour for indoor courts in fall 2026. Private clubs cost more.

3. A 3-pack of overgrips ($5.59)

The wrap on her paddle handle wears out every few weeks if she plays often. The GAMMA PureTac Pickleball Overgrip 3-Pack was $5.59 and fits any paddle.

4. Born to Rally Bamboo Pickleball Socks ($12.99)

Soft crew socks with an all-over pickleball print. A good add-on to a card.

5. Born to Rally Pickleball King Double-Sided Microfiber Towel ($18)

A towel for her bag on hot days.

6. Mom Needs Court Time mug ($19)

A gift that is easy for kids of any age to give. The Mom Needs Court Time Pickleball Mug, 11 oz, Gift for Mom is 11 oz, so it suits her morning coffee before an early game.

7. Seven Feet of Patience mug ($19)

The kitchen, the no-volley zone next to the net, is seven feet deep, and the player who waits there patiently wins a lot of points. Most moms will tell you they have a lot more than seven feet of patience. The Seven Feet of Patience Pickleball Mug, 11 oz has a small court drawing with the two kitchen zones shaded.

8. Selkirk Premium Paddle Case ($19.99)

A padded paddle case lined with terry cloth, so her paddle does not get scratched in the bag with keys and snacks.

9. Born to Rally Lob and Love Lariat Pickleball Necklace ($24.99)

A heart-shaped pickleball charm on a stainless steel chain. A sweet gift from a son or daughter.

$25 to $50

10. Born to Rally Pickleball Stainless Steel Carbon Fiber Bracelet ($25)

A braided band with a pickleball charm that adjusts from 5 to 8 inches.

11. Mom Needs Court Time tee ($27)

The Mom Needs Court Time Pickleball T-Shirt, Gift for Mom comes in athletic heather, dusty blue, natural and white. It is a cotton tee for the walk to the court and the coffee after, not a sweat-wicking shirt for a long match.

12. Mom Needs Court Time tote ($28)

The Mom Needs Court Time Pickleball Tote Bag, Gift for Mom holds a paddle, a water bottle, a towel and sunscreen. It is a canvas tote, not a padded paddle bag, so add the paddle case above if she carries a paddle she cares about.

13. Paddle Packed, Plans Cancelled tote ($28)

For the mom who keeps a paddle in the car and quietly skips the school fundraiser meeting when a court opens up. The Paddle Packed, Plans Cancelled Pickleball Tote Bag is $28, and there is a Paddle Packed, Plans Cancelled Pickleball Mug, 11 oz for $19.

14. JOOLA Water Bottle ($29.95)

An insulated bottle with a clip lid that hangs on her bag or the court fence.

15. Mom Needs Court Time hat ($32)

The Mom Needs Court Time Pickleball Hat, Embroidered, Gift for Mom is embroidered, not printed, and one size fits most with an adjustable strap, so you do not need her size.

16. Born to Rally Serve and Sparkle Pickleball Necklace ($39.99)

A gold-plated pickleball charm on an extendable chain, a little dressier than the lariat necklace.

17. Ame and Lulu Head in the Game Visor ($42)

Many women prefer a visor to a hat on hot courts. This one has moisture-wicking fabric and a hook-and-loop strap.

18. Grandma Owns the Kitchen sweatshirt ($42)

For the mom who is also a grandma, from the grandkids. It works two ways: her kitchen at home, and the kitchen line on the court. The Grandma Owns the Kitchen Pickleball Crewneck Sweatshirt, Gift for Grandma is a Gildan 18000 crewneck in light pink, sand, sport grey and white, $42 in S to XL and a little more in bigger sizes. See more in pickleball gifts for grandparents.

19. Gearbox Vision Eyewear ($44.99)

Sport glasses with impact-resistant lenses. A caring gift if she plays at the kitchen line, where balls come fast.

$50 and up

20. Born to Rally Pickleball Court Bag ($69.99)

A shoulder tote made for the court, with a pocket for two paddles and side pockets for a bottle or balls.

21. Pickleball Bella Drop Pleat Skort ($69.99)

A pleated skort with built-in shorts that have ball and phone pockets. Only if you know her size.

22. CRBN Pivot Pickleball Glasses ($95)

Higher-end sport glasses made for pickleball, for a mom who plays every week.

23. A lesson for the two of you (about $105 an hour)

Many gift guides say the best Mother's Day gift is time together, and a lesson is time together that also helps her game. The Vail Recreation District listed a semi-private lesson at $105 an hour for the group in 2026 (or $85 for one person). Book it for a date after Mother's Day and give her the time on a card.

24. Skechers Viper Court Pro 2.0 (women's) ($114.95)

Court shoes give side support that running shoes do not. Get her size right, or give a gift card to a pickleball shop.

25. A pickleball camp ($579)

A weekend just for her. The Nike Adult Pickleball Camp on Sanibel Island, Florida, listed $579 for three days (April 23 to 25, 2027), with 11 hours of court time. A good family gift to split.

When to order for Mother's Day

Mother's Day 2027 is Sunday, May 9. Our items are printed or embroidered to order in the US: production takes 2 to 5 business days, then US shipping takes 3 to 4 business days, and US shipping is free. To be safe, order ours by about April 23. Other retailers have their own shipping times. For a birthday, order two weeks ahead, and for Christmas, order in the first week of December (more in pickleball Christmas gift ideas). You can send a gift straight to mom by putting her address at checkout.

What not to buy

  • A paddle she did not ask for. Paddles are personal. If she wants a new one, give a gift card or ask for the exact model.
  • Gear for a level she is not at. A drill kit for a five-year player, or a $300 pro paddle for a first-year player, misses.
  • Clothes and shoes in a size you guessed. Pick a tote, hat, mug or towel if you are not sure.
  • Pink just because she is a mom. Look at the colors she already wears on the court.
  • Jokes about age. "Mom needs court time" is a joke about her schedule; a joke about getting old can land badly.
  • A promise you will not keep. If you give "a morning off to play", put a date on it.
